The Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association is teaming up with the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Brick by Brick appeal for its Dine Around offer. The campaign will see some of the city’s best restaurants serving up meal deals with some of the proceeds going towards the hospice’s push to build a new Glasgow hospice in Bellahouston. Taking place from Wednesday, May 1 to Friday, May 31 over 70 restaurants are involved including Piccolo Mondo. Speaking at the launch at House for an Art Lover, Chairman of the Glasgow Restaurateurs’ Association, Ryan James, said: “We are excited to launch our popular Dine Around promotion this May and are pleased to see so many of our member restaurants taking part. “Glasgow is renowned for its culinary offering and we hope foodies across the country celebrate this with us and help raise money for such a worthwhile cause.” The GRA hopes to raise £5,000 through the online deal for the hospice campaign. Capital Appeal Manager at the Hospice, Heather Manson, said: “The money raised from Glasgow’s Dine Around will be greatly appreciated in helping us reach our target to build a new state of the art facility in Bellahouston. “We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received towards the new Hospice and would like to say thank you for the continued generosity.” To find out which restaurants are taking part and to book your table, visit the Dine Around website.
